Position: Human Resources Generalist (Bilingual)

Overview

The Human Resource Generalist facilitates the human resource processes for the company under the direction of the HR Business Partner. This role supports the HR Business Partner in selection, planning and administration of the employee health and benefit plans, resolves benefits‑related problems, and ensures positive employee relations, and assists in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures;
Additionally, this role serves as the main contact for daily HR questions and concerns from employees, and is responsible for proper record‑keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry for the company.

Responsibilities
  • Leads administrative full‑cycle of new employee onboarding process, including background checks, drug screens, pre‑boarding paperwork and first day orientation.
  • Manages and processes required insurance documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record‑keeping and proper deductions.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes Forms I‑9, verifies I‑9 documentation and maintains I‑9 files.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Assists with Employee Relations (ER) investigations
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1‑3 years’ experience in HR position
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
  • AA or AS degree in business related course of work
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a requirement
