Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist for a direct hire opportunity in Miami, FL with a real estate and property management organization. This is a highly visible, hands-on HR role supporting U.S. subsidiary operations, local leadership, employees, external vendors, and headquarters in Japan.
This is an excellent opportunity for a self-directed HR professional who enjoys ownership, cross-cultural communication, and building reliable HR processes in a collaborative environment with direct access to leadership.
This role is ideal for someone who values professionalism, confidentiality, accountability, and positive working relationships. The environment requires sound judgment, proactive communication, and the ability to move priorities forward independently while knowing when to consult leadership, headquarters HR, or outside specialists.
Key Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day HR operations for local U.S. subsidiary sites, including employee support, HR records, policy administration, and confidential HR documentation.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, including agency management, intake with hiring managers, job description development, interview coordination, offer communication, negotiation, onboarding, and start-date coordination.
- Support employee relations by hearing employee concerns, gathering facts, coordinating with local leadership, and escalating to headquarters HR when appropriate.
- Oversee vendor-managed payroll by reviewing payroll data, identifying potential errors or anomalies, and working with the payroll provider to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with applicable U.S. federal and state employment laws, wage-and-hour requirements, statutory reporting, social insurance procedures, and required filings.
- Coordinate directly with headquarters in Japan, including HR reporting, data submissions, policy alignment, initiative implementation, and expatriate support as needed.
- Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
