Job Description Now Hiring:
Human Resources Specialist

Location:

SMI Corporate Office – Doral, FL

Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually

SMI is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and bilingual Human Resources Specialist to join our growing team. This on-site position is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting employees while ensuring efficient office operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day office management. We are looking for a team-oriented professional who demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and exceptional organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the full-cycle onboarding process for new hires.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation in both English and Spanish.
  • Process and maintain E-Verify employment eligibility records.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring activities.
  • Support employee relations while promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies.
  • Manage office operations, supplies, scheduling, and administrative functions.
  • Partner with management to support workforce planning and HR initiatives.
  • Perform additional Human Resources and Office Management duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous Human Resources and Office Management experience required.
  • Experience using E-Verify is required.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
