Job Description
HR Generalist
As RMW continues to grow across multiple offices and locations, providing employees with consistent, accurate, and responsive HR support is increasingly important. The HR Generalist will support day-to-day HR operations with a strong focus on payroll, benefits administration, and employee support across RMW locations.
This role works closely with employees, managers, and the HR team to ensure payroll and benefits processes are handled accurately, and employees receive timely, professional support throughout the employee lifecycle.
What You’ll Do- Support payroll processing, including reviewing timekeeping, employee changes, deductions, and payroll data to help ensure accurate and timely payroll.
- Research and resolve payroll questions and discrepancies with employees, managers, and payroll providers.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, qualifying life events, employee changes, and benefits documentation.
- Support annual benefits enrollment and respond to employee payroll and benefits questions.
- Provide consistent HR support to employees and managers across multiple offices and locations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HRIS data, and personnel documentation.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle changes, including new hires, compensation and status changes, transfers, leaves, and terminations.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes across RMW locations.
- Assist with routine employee relations matters and escape complex or sensitive situations when appropriate.
- Support compliance with applicable employment, payroll, benefits, and company requirements.
- Assist with HR reporting and identify opportunities to improve HR processes and workflows.
- Professional HR experience with hands-on experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience supporting employees across multiple offices, locations, or jurisdictions strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, deductions, benefits administration, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Comfortable working with HRIS, payroll and benefits platforms, Microsoft Office, and other business technology.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively with employees and managers across different locations.
- Relevant education, professional experience, or a combination of both in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
