** SUMMARY*
* A successful candidate will provide comprehensive Human Resources support to business units in all areas of HR including employee relations, recruiting and on-boarding, benefit administration and coordination of new hires for the Miami location.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
* + Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues
+ Lead new hire orientation
+ Recruiter for salaried positions
+ Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances
+ Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management
+ Manage employee discipline and performance improvement processes
+ Ensure consistent execution of performance management and disciplinary actions
+ Partner with HR and business leaders to develop and execute employee engagement initiatives
+ Aiding communication between management and employees and resolving issues
+ Lead employee round table discussions
Qualifications:
** QUALIFICATIONS*
* + Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
+ High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
+ Extremely strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
+ Excellent judgment in a range of situations, maturity and trustworthiness
+ Strong employee relations experience
+ Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
+ Strong proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint
+ Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) to effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients and team members (required)
** EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE*
* Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four year college or university; five or more years of related experience and/or training.
PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP certification required.
