The SAP BTP Architect will lead the design, development, and integration of SAP Business Technology Platform solutions to enable digital transformation for clients operating on legacy ERP systems (SAGE & MILO). This role requires deep expertise in ABAP/RAP, Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM), and hands‑on experience with SAP BTP components such as Business Application Studio (BAS), Workzone, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will combine technical leadership with hands‑on development and client‑facing communication, ensuring seamless integration between SAP BTP and non‑SAP ERP environments.

Key Responsibilities- Client Engagement.
- Design and implement SAP BTP‑based solutions that integrate with legacy ERP systems (SAGE & MILO) using APIs, middleware, and SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
- Develop scalable applications and services on BTP using CAPM, OData, and Node.js/Java runtimes.
- Ensure interoperability with SAP Fiori, SAP HANA Cloud, and other SAP services.

- Deliver high‑quality ABAP development (reports, enhancements, workflows) for SAP components.
- Build cloud‑native applications using CAPM, CDS views, and Fiori Elements.
- Technical Leadership.
- Lead development efforts and mentor team members on SAP BTP best practices.
- Drive Agile‑based CI/CD deployments and Dev Ops practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Present architectural approaches and technical options aligned with modernization goals.
- Stay updated on SAP innovations including CAPM, BAS, and cloud‑native services.
- Recommend improvements in integration strategy and deployment practices.
- Primary: ABAP development, CAPM (CDS Views, Node.js/Java runtimes), SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Integration.
- Strong grasp of Agile‑based CI/CD deployments and Dev Ops practices.
- Integration with non‑SAP ERP systems (SAGE, MILO).
- SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Fiori Elements.
- Understanding of microservices and event‑driven architectures.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Git‑based workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
- Minimum 15+ years in SAP development with at least 3 years in SAP BTP (ABAP + CAPM).
- SAP certifications in ABAP, BTP, or CAPM preferred.
