We are seeking reliable and skilled Network Level 1 Support Engineers to join our on-call dispatch tasks project as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in IT and network support who are available to assist with ad-hoc onsite requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform rack and stack installations for networking equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot switches and routers.
- Handle structured cabling, patching, and connectivity tasks.
- Configure and troubleshoot printers and related peripherals.
- Provide console access support for devices.
- Assist with system migrations and deployment tasks.
- Perform imaging and re-imaging of systems.
- Support other IT/network-related tasks as dispatched.
- Prior experience in the IT/Network domain.
- Availability for on-call, dispatch-based work.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently at client sites.
- Engineer must carry basic tools such as a console cable, ethernet cable, and a laptop. If any additional tools are required, these will be communicated in advance.
- Preferred Skills & Certifications (a plus):
CompTIA Network+;
Cisco CCNA (or currently pursuing).
