Business Analyst

TECKpert’s client, a government agency in South Florida, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise application implementation within its Information Technology Department. This role will work in a complex, multi-department environment supporting modernization initiatives related to traffic and parking systems. This consultant will play a critical role in gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, supporting vendor solution implementation, and ensuring successful system integration and user adoption.

This is a hybrid role and requires availability for onsite meetings as needed. Candidates must be located in South Florida.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Translate requirements into user stories and technical specifications
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements
• Support vendor application implementation and integration efforts
• Conduct functional and integration testing
• Assist with user acceptance testing activities
• Support test planning, test case development, and execution
• Perform data analysis using Power BI, Excel, and SQL
• Support ETL and data integration efforts
• Manage BA-related project tasks using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Coordinate with cross-functional technical and business teams
• Support change management and end-user transition activities
• Assist with vendor management and solution demonstrations
• Provide ongoing system performance review and optimization recommendations

This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $98,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum five years of experience in software implementation and business process analysis
• Experience working in large, complex organizations
• Experience implementing vendor software packages
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong documentation and process mapping skills
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI and Excel
• Working knowledge of SQL, data models, and ETL processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must reside in South Florida
