IT Global Support Administrator
Unique Vacations, Inc. – an affiliate of Sandals Resorts & Beaches Resorts – is seeking a forward‑thinking IT Global Support Administrator to join its in‑house team in Miami.
Job DescriptionResponsible for providing technical support of desktop/laptop and mobile devices, applications, and related technology in the Miami office and remote assistance to affiliated offices. Activities include specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. The role requires interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non‑recurring problems and to provide one‑on‑one consultancy to end users, Network and Sysadmin teams.
Responsibilities- Organize hardware infrastructure and install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software.
- Work with vendor support to resolve technical problems.
- Collaborate with Network, Sysadmin, Info Sec and Projects teams to determine and resolve client issues.
- Ensure desktop computers interconnect with file, email, application, and administrative servers.
- Recommend and perform system upgrades to ensure longevity.
- Coordinate with procurement staff for hardware and software purchases.
- Maintain an updated electronic equipment inventory and perform periodic audits.
- Assist in maintaining LAN/WAN records and telephone cabling.
- Handle on‑call responsibilities as required.
- Stay abreast of technology advances and recommend beneficial applications.
- Maintain endpoint inventory for C‑Suite users.
- Strong focus on quality customer service.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Experience supporting remote users (Windows and macOS).
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP), VPN, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, network troubleshooting.
- Technical competence with various software programs.
- Flexibility during change and ability to elicit cooperation from upper management and other departments.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Capacity to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high‑pressure environments.
- ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft certification.
- Experience with MDM solutions such as AD Manager or Endpoint Central.
- Familiarity with IT service management tools (Jira, Service Now).
Education:
Minimum associate degree in information technology or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum three years in a similar IT support role, preferably in a global or multinational environment.
