IT Manager - Financial Services

We are seeking an experienced IT Director to oversee our firm's technology infrastructure and ensure it efficiently and securely supports our business operations. This role requires a strong focus on compliance, cybersecurity, and strategic IT alignment within the financial services industry.

• Oversee the firm's entire IT infrastructure, including managing the relationship with our Managed Service Provider (MSP) and all third‑party technology vendors.
• Serve as the main escalation point for all technology‑related issues and incidents, working closely with the MSP.
• Lead the development, selection, and implementation of new hardware and software to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage the IT budget to ensure cost‑effective technology solutions.
• Develop and enforce robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive firm data.
• Proactively assess and mitigate technology‑related risks.
• Manage relationships with all technology vendors, holding them accountable for performance, security standards, and service terms.
• Identify opportunities for technological innovation that align with the firm's business goals.
• Participate in committee and executive‑level discussions, providing expert input and regular reports on IT initiatives.

• Bachelor of Science in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology; experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in network administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of the specific IT needs and regulatory requirements for financial advisory firms.
• Proven ability to align IT strategy with overall business objectives.
