JOB SUMMARY

The IT Manager will provide hands‑on technical support to staff and ensure the user base receives high‑quality support while maintaining the integrity of our Microsoft 365, networking, and cybersecurity infrastructure.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary onsite liaison for the MSP. Monitor their performance against SLAs, manage the escalation of complex tickets, and lead weekly coordination meetings to ensure project alignment.
  • Provide internal management of Microsoft 365 environments, Microsoft Entra , and cloud‑based phone systems, ensuring the MSP maintains these systems according to corporate standards.
  • Responsible for configuring and maintaining network printers, copiers, and scanners.
  • Oversee the security and connectivity of our three offices. This includes verifying configuration and uptime of firewalls, VPNs, and the effectiveness of EDR and SIEM monitoring.
  • Provide regular updates to the Managing Director and Corporate Sr. Manager of IT regarding system health, security vulnerabilities, and MSP performance metrics.
  • Assist in managing the local IT budget and coordinating hardware and software procurement through approved vendors.
  • Act as the internal champion for our 100+ staff members, ensuring they have the tools and training needed to excel with Office products and industry‑specific applications.
  • Asset Tracking:
    Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date inventory of all IT assets across our three office locations.
  • Manage an IT Specialist with job tasking and supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of professional IT experience, specifically including direct experience managing or working within an MSP model.
  • Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and Microsoft Azure and Entra .
  • Practical knowledge of firewalls, VPN architecture, and network scanners and copiers.
  • Solid understanding of EDR, SIEM, and modern cybersecurity best practices. Creating and maintaining Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining cloud‑based VoIP phone systems (not managed by MSP).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report effectively to executive‑level leadership.
  • Experience training the user base on Microsoft technologies and creating technology user guides.
  • Microsoft and CompTIA certifications.
  • Knowledge of the Affordable Housing sector but not required.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and management.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish/Creole a plus.
