Solutions Architect; SLG), State and Local Government - Southeast Region

Position

Location:

Tallahassee, FL or within reasonable commuting distance.

This position focuses on helping customers implement innovative cloud computing solutions, architecting applications on Amazon Web Services, and guiding technical engagements to successful deployment on AWS.

• In partnership with the Sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through adoption of AWS.
• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
• Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
• Conduct one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
• Capture and share best‑practice knowledge among the AWS Solutions Architect community.
• Contribute to AWS customer‑facing publications such as white papers.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams, and Support.

• Technical presentation experience – Whiteboard, small and large group presentations.
• Web services development/deployment experience, cloud computing.
• Web site/services operations, management, and security operational experience.
• Ability to travel 30%.

• Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

The base salary range for this position is  -  USD annually.
