Overview
This role is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy for their technology domains, providing business and technical expertise to help customers succeed. Partner teams focus on strategy, recruiting, and growth of key technology and consulting partners, enabling customers to build innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver technical workshops that accelerate technology adoption and customer enablement across email, SMS, Whats App, and push notification channels.
- Create comprehensive best‑practice documentation and implementation guides for multi‑channel communication strategies.
- Direct AWS Solutions Architects, Sales, and Partner teams across multiple engagements to drive targeted outcomes and consistent advice.
- Develop industry‑leading customer‑facing resources based on projected customer needs and current demand.
- Develop and maintain personal relationships with key industry personnel and policy makers.
- Experience in a customer‑facing, sales‑aligned role such as consultant, solutions engineer, or solutions architect.
- Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.
- Experience with Amazon SES, AWS End User Messaging, or multi‑channel communication platforms.
- Experience with email deliverability, SMS messaging, Whats App Business API, or push notification services. Background in a regulated industry such as financial services, healthcare, or public sector is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in a specific technology domain (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructure.
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Knowledge of SAP systems (e.g., SAP Business Suite, S/4
HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects) and their architecture and infrastructure needs. - Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
- Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.
- Experience with SAP S/4
HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP, and Cloud ERP Private. - Experience with SAP clean‑core design concepts, including design and build using non‑SAP technologies (e.g., generative/agentic AI, data & analytics).
