Location & Work SetupIT Support Technician – Miami, FL. 100% in‑office supporting over 30 offices across the United States.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Answer calls and respond to tickets from the Support Desk ticketing system.
- Communicate issues and solutions via MS Teams, email, and in person.
- Gather necessary information to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software problems.
- Remote into TM computers to install software, troubleshoot, and provide hands‑on assistance while speaking with TMs.
- Provide first‑level corrective action and collaborate with IT staff.
- Escalate tickets to IT Support Tech II when necessary and log detailed steps in the ticketing system.
- Assist team members in learning processes and recommend alternative approaches.
- Use Active Directory and Azure Active Directory to retrieve information, assign permissions, and reset passwords.
- Coordinate with hardware vendors over the phone for troubleshooting or warranty repairs.
- Support new systems and applications, following knowledge‑base articles and checklists.
- Research, evaluate, and test hardware, software products, and system solutions.
- Participate in I.T. projects and maintain confidentiality of user information.
- Occasionally assist the hardware support team with deploying new equipment and basic hardware maintenance.
- Attend work during normal business hours and perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, One Drive).
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow technical written processes.
- Previous experience staging and deploying Windows 10 computers preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work well in teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication along with customer‑service skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently.
- Preferred skills:
Intune, Automation, Security, Coding, and Power Shell.
- Salary range: $22.93‑$29.06 per hour.
