Overview

Our client, a leading private equity firm, is seeking a Service Desk Associate to work onsite at their Miami office helping deliver white glove IT support. This individual will work on a variety of user facing technologies, including desktop operating systems, enterprise productivity applications, email and endpoint protection and management solutions. This individual will provide high-quality customer service, ensuring the client’s IT systems and equipment issues are resolved in a timely manner.

Support will be offered both onsite and remotely.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resolution and excellent customer service while troubleshooting technical hardware/software issues.
  • Provide quick and effective assistance to end-users with IT issues (in-person, via email/chat or phone).
  • Troubleshoot issues with laptops, iPhones, iPads, enterprise applications such as Outlook, Excel, Zoom etc.
  • Thoroughly and accurately understand issues and analyze the problem in a systematic fashion.
  • Troubleshoot virtual conferencing systems (such as Zoom) and provide IT assistance in conference rooms.
  • Set up accounts for new employees and configure their laptops.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to monitor, audit, and true-up IT resources
  • Assist other IT team members with ongoing projects (at both the Miami office and other locations).
Qualifications
  • Education in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent field preferred
  • 3+ years of proven experience in a similar role is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience working with C-Level executives is required
  • Troubleshooting experience with MS Office apps and Windows workstations is required
  • Troubleshooting experience with iPhone and iPad is required. MDM experience is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted service desk tools is a plus as we continue modernizing our IT operations
