IT Project Manager, Systems Analyst
About the Role
As Manager of Digital & Tech Operations Innovation you will lead the development and deployment of operational technology tools and process improvements in Burger King restaurants. You will partner closely with Operations, Digital & Technology, Franchisees, and Restaurant Teams to identify operational pain points, implement scalable solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on order accuracy, labor optimization, kitchen efficiency, and team member experience.
Responsibilities- Lead operational rollout initiatives for restaurant screen systems, kitchen workflow tools, and operational technology enhancements.
- Partner closely with Technology, Product, and Engineering teams to align technical solutions with restaurant operational needs.
- Lead implementation and rollout activities for restaurant systems enhancements, upgrades, pilots, and innovation initiatives.
- Collaborate directly with restaurant operators, franchisees, and field teams to gather feedback, identify pain points, and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support testing, validation, and operational readiness for new technology deployments.
- Develop operational processes, training materials, and communication plans to support successful adoption of new systems and tools.
- Monitor rollout performance metrics, user adoption, and operational impact to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Coordinate with third‑party vendors and internal support teams to resolve system issues and ensure operational continuity.
- Travel to restaurants as needed to support pilots, implementations, and field engagement activities.
- 5+ years of experience in restaurant operations, restaurant technology, POS systems, or operational innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Hospitality, Engineering, Technology or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of quick service restaurant operations and restaurant technology environments.
- Experience supporting POS systems, kitchen/back‑of‑house systems, or operational technology deployments.
- Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with both technical and operational teams.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel to restaurant locations as needed.
- Experience working with franchise organizations and field operations teams.
- Familiarity with agile product development or technology implementation methodologies.
- Knowledge of restaurant hardware, software integrations, and digital operations platforms.
- Experience supporting large‑scale operational change management initiatives.
