Senior ServiceNow Developer

** Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:*
* + Developing and customizing Service Now applications and modules based on mission requirements

+ Designing workflows, scripts, and user interfaces within the Service Now platform

+ Integrating Service Now with third-party tools and data sources. Supporting Service Now upgrades, patching, and performance tuning

+ Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend best-practice solutions

+ Maintaining platform stability, security, and data integrity. Troubleshooting and resolving incidents related to the Service Now platform

+ Creating technical documentation, user guides, and training materials

+ Ensuring compliance with U.S. Southern Command IT policies and processes

* Minimum Qualifications:

*
* + 8+ years of professional experience.

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

+ High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience might be substituted for a Bachelor's degree

+ A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree might be granted 2 years' experience credit and a candidate holding a relevant PhD degree might be granted 4 years' experience credit

+ 5 years of Service Now Development experience.

+

Experience with Service Now modules such as ITSM, CMDB, or HRSD

+ Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and Service Now Studio

+ Understanding of Service Now data architecture and integrations

* Preferred Qualifications:

*
* + Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) OR Service Now Certified Application Developer

+ Experience supporting military or federal government clients

+ Familiarity with Agile development processes

+ Knowledge of ITIL concepts and practices

+ Experience developing custom applications within Service Now

** Clearance Requirements:*
* + Must have an active Secret clearance.

* Physical Requirements:

* + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

+ Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

+ Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
