SDH​/SONET Migration Project Engineer

We are looking for seasoned and experienced SDH/SONET/DWDM Project / Migration Engineers in the Palo Alto, New York, Miami, Boston areas of the US on a long term permanent basis. The successful candidates will have worked on large scale deployment and migration projects and must have the ability to design and execute solutions to enable migration of SDH or DWDM services residing on Legacy products to newer technology and platforms.

• Understands SDH, SONET, DWDM and OTN
• Circuit audit at equipment and inventory level
• Access Tail/Vendor audit
• Able to work with large volumes of data
• Able to define migration strategies to minimise disruption to customers
• Converse with other technology layer Project Engineers (Fibre, DWDM, IP)
• Able to work from E1 to STM
  64 provisioning of new circuits or paths
• Able to work from 1GE to 100GE DWDM services or channels
• Able to execute migration of SDH, SONET or DWDM services
• Produce High Level Designs depicting Target Solution (Core and Access Layer)
• Produce Low Level Designs for specific site solutions
• Must be able to plan volume circuit migrations
• Able to communicate at all levels
