Overview

Title: Delivery Lead / Technical Project Manager
Role Type: Contract

Location: Onsite, 4 days per week, Miami, FL (local candidates only)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Delivery Lead / Technical Project Manager to oversee multiple teams (2–4 at a time) and drive successful project outcomes. This role requires strong problem‑solving skills, the ability to engage the right stakeholders during escalations, and excellent communication with both teams and leadership. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, project management principles, and hands‑on expertise with JIRA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and mentor multiple teams simultaneously, ensuring alignment and delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including refinement meetings, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
  • Establish metrics, track progress, identify risks, and create mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate cross‑team dependencies and remove blockers to keep projects on track.
  • Lead prioritization discussions and help teams focus on high‑value deliverables.
  • Partner with Product Managers/Owners to manage backlogs effectively.
  • Build a collaborative, trusting environment where challenges can be raised and addressed constructively.
  • Drive continuous improvement across teams and processes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong expertise in JIRA and Confluence.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to adapt based on team needs.
  • Experience training and coaching teams on Agile practices (DoR, DoD, User Stories, Story Points, etc.).
  • Skilled in building roadmaps, tracking dependencies, and resolving blockers.
  • Ability to lead distributed and remote teams effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Demonstrated servant leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution, and empowerment.
  • Experience socializing team dashboards (burn‑ups, burn‑downs) and driving accountability.
