Job DescriptionWe invite a Senior Data Engineer to own the design and operation of a scalable data platform that underpins advanced analytics and AI initiatives. The role spans the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to governance and access—ensuring trusted data for BI dashboards and predictive models. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to construct robust pipelines, optimize modern tooling, and elevate data readiness across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee end‑to‑end data pipeline operations, delivering curated datasets for analytics and AI workloads.
- Maintain the data platform across Databricks, dbt, SQL, Python, and Net Suite to ensure performance, reliability, and governance.
- Lead data quality, lineage, validation, cataloging, and monitoring to sustain data trust.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable, reusable data solutions that unlock actionable insights.
- Evaluate and adopt new data technologies and AI‑assisted tooling to streamline processes and foster innovation.
- Collaborate with BI, analytics, and engineering teams to enable self‑serve analytics and efficient data access for dashboards and models.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Practical experience with Databricks, dbt, SQL, Python, and Net Suite; strong data modeling and pipeline design capabilities.
- Demonstrated success building data platforms for BI, analytics, and AI workloads.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proactive problem‑solver with a commitment to continuous improvement of data architecture and delivery.
- Experience with data governance and cataloging is advantageous.
