IT Systems Business Analyst

The IT Systems Business Analyst (BA) works closely with Business Process Owners (BPO), Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Developers to improve business processes, software functionality, testing, implementation, documentation, and training. The BA leads requirements gathering, analysis, and testing, translates business requirements into application requirements, and supports SMEs and users with troubleshooting. The role requires effective collaboration in diverse teams, conducting interviews and workshops, and managing multiple projects in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Evaluate requirements and processes for improvement and standardization within Farm Operations.
• Lead or work closely with a Project Manager and BPO to define and document project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and action plans.
• Gather and document business requirements for system improvements and enhancements.
• Translate business requirements into functional requirements.
• Analyze data for troubleshooting and decision making regarding system changes.
• Analyze business needs and recommend solutions.
• Participate in solution design and integrations with other systems.
• Comply with project and change‑management policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Facilitate effective communication among departments to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Develop an understanding of business processes across multiple disciplines.
• Develop test scenarios and cases, and lead user acceptance testing.
• Make system configuration changes to achieve operational outcomes.
• Timely troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Act as a change agent to ensure continuous improvement and evolution of the IT function in support of enterprise transformation.
• Keep up to date with the latest IT initiatives and process‑change controls in modernizing and standardizing the organization.

• Knowledge in SQL querying and relational databases.
• Functional and configuration experience with at least one ERP application (Sage X3 a plus, SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, People Soft).
• Application implementation experience.
• Knowledge and experience with BA standards and tools such as BABOK.
• IIBA Certification (a plus).
• Bilingual – proficient in Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Familiar with Agile principles.
• Familiar with Project Management principles.
• PM Certification (a plus).
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience (a plus).
• Power BI (a plus).
• Teamwork and leadership skills, proactive attitude, people‑oriented.
• High proficiency with general end‑user tools – Microsoft Office Suite.
• Competent in Word, Excel, Outlook;
  Visio competency a plus.

• Occasional travel to operational work sites to meet with internal stakeholders.
• Three days of in‑office presence required at the Miami headquarters.
• Primarily office‑based role with open‑space environment, occasional outdoor tasks in varying weather.
• Sedentary work involving up to 10 pounds of force occasionally; occasional standing, walking, or lifting to a certain weight.
