The University of Miami Health System (“UHealth”) IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Sr. Epic Analyst (Cupid.

The Sr. Epic Analyst (Cupid) initiates the implementation, builds, and modifies complex applications, and collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access. The incumbent supports junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues.
* Collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access.
* Serves as a primary support contact for application end‐users.
* Initiates the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application.
* Initiates all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design.
* Performs the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow.
* Initiates the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them.
* Supports junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations.
* Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
* Works with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs.
* Participates in on-call rotations and support and attend and participates in, applicable committees.
* Maintains regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
* Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
* Remains knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations.
* Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Job Functions:

As a Senior Epic Analyst –Cupid, you will:
* Provide oversight and leadership to Associate Clinical Analysts and Clinical Analysts on the team
* Serve as a primary support contact for application end‐users
* Initiate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application
* Initiate all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design
* Perform the analysis of new releases and validate the impacts to the workflow
* Initiate the identification of issues and guide the work to resolve them
* Support junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations
* Collaborate with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies
* Work with stakeholders, business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs
* Maintain regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings
* Review the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership
