POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Revenue Management Technology Delivery leads the technology organization that enables Revenue Management through data, analytics, and application platforms. This is a senior technology and delivery leadership role accountable for translating Revenue Management strategy into business capabilities, product roadmaps, and measurable outcomes that support pricing, demand forecasting, inventory management, and yield optimization. This leader does not personally design models, write production code, or build pipelines.
Instead, they serve as the primary bridge between Revenue Management business leaders and technology teams, driving alignment between business priorities, product roadmaps, and delivery execution. Positioned within the IT PMO, this role does not have direct reports and achieves results through influence, collaboration, and coordination across multiple product, engineering, data, and architecture teams. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of Revenue Management concepts, agile delivery, stakeholder alignment, and cross‑functional leadership, supported by sufficient technical fluency to guide decisions, assess risks, and partner effectively with product owners, architects, engineers, and data science teams.
- Organizational Leadership – Provide leadership, coordination, and strategic direction across multidisciplinary product, engineering, data, and architecture teams supporting Revenue Management initiatives. Set the product, delivery, and technology enablement vision for the Revenue Management Technology portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities, enterprise architecture, security, and delivery standards. Influence and support talent development through coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and collaboration with functional leaders across technology and business teams.
Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence, data‑driven decision making, operational discipline, and continuous improvement. Partner with business and technology leaders to develop, prioritize, and govern investment plans, budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocations in support of Revenue Management objectives. - Business Partnership – Serve as the primary technology partner to the Revenue Management business leadership, building deep understanding of pricing, forecasting, yield, and inventory optimization workflows. Partner with business stakeholders to elicit, prioritize, and translate data needs—including new data sources, data quality expectations, latency requirements, governance, and analytical use cases—into a technology roadmap. Collaborate with Revenue Management, data science, and technology teams to ensure platforms and tools support forecasting, pricing, optimization, experimentation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement needs.
Translate business outcomes into measurable technology objectives (e.g., forecast accuracy lift, time‑to‑deploy a new model, data freshness SLAs, decision‑support latency), and report progress to senior business and technology leadership. Influence executive stakeholders by communicating complex data and ML concepts in plain, business‑relevant language. - Technology Strategy and Architecture – Own the multi‑year technology roadmap for Revenue Management data platforms, ML infrastructure, and application portfolio. Provide business‑informed oversight on architecture and platform decisions, ensuring technical approaches support Revenue Management outcomes, delivery commitments, scalability, reliability, and enterprise standards. Ensure platforms support the end‑to‑end Revenue Management analytics lifecycle, from data availability and model enablement through deployment, monitoring, adoption, and business performance measurement.
Partner with architects and engineering leaders to evaluate and select appropriate data, analytics, ML, and cloud tooling, balancing business value, delivery speed, enterprise standards, maintainability, and cost. Champion modern delivery, operational, and engineering practices that improve reliability, security, transparency, speed to market, and cost…
