Our client is currently seeking a qualified Mobile Device Support Technician to join their team onsite in Miami, FL and provide end-user support.
This Technician will support the daily deployment, provisioning, and lifecycle management of enterprise mobile devices. This role is responsible for preparing devices for end users, ensuring they are properly configured, tested, and compliant with company standards before deployment.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys hands‑on technical work, and has a strong customer service mindset. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build experience in enterprise mobility and endpoint management.
Duties and Responsibilities- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of mobile devices, including receiving, staging, provisioning, deployment, refresh, return, and retirement
- Unpack, configure, image, test, package, and prepare mobile devices for deployment
- Enroll and configure devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Workspace ONE and Omni Serve
- Verify that required applications, security policies, and configuration profiles have been successfully applied
- Perform quality assurance testing to ensure devices:
- Connect to corporate networks
- Authenticate successfully
- Receive required updates
- Troubleshoot basic device enrollment, configuration, application installation, connectivity, and update issues
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior MDM Engineers or Engineering teams
- Maintain accurate asset records, serial numbers, inventory status, and deployment documentation
- Coordinate with warehouse, IT support, and project teams to meet deployment schedules
- Support device refresh initiatives and hardware replacement projects
- Follow documented operational procedures and contribute to process improvements
- Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum 1 to 2+ years of experience in desktop support, mobile device support, or endpoint deployment
- Experience working with:
- iOS and Android devices
- Windows workstations
- Basic imaging and device provisioning
- Familiarity with MDM tools such as Workspace ONE, Intune, Mobile Iron, or similar platforms
- Basic understanding of:
- Active Directory
- Enterprise applications
- Familiarity with asset management processes preferred
- Experience using ITSM platforms such as Service Now preferred
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices preferred
The rate for this position is between $16.75 - $22.33 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
