Job Summary
The Enterprise Application Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, maintenance, and optimization of critical enterprise applications and supporting technologies. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of business applications, including SQL databases and MAPS/One View (NCLH Crew Application). The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional troubleshooting and customer support skills to deliver effective solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
PositionResponsibilities
- Administer, configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise applications to ensure optimal system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Manage and support SQL databases, including query development, database administration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and data integrity.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for MAPS/One View and related crew management applications, ensuring seamless operation and integration with enterprise systems.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for application, software, and hardware related issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.
- Monitor application health and system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact business operations.
- Coordinate and support application deployments, upgrades, patches, and system enhancements.
- Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, including system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and cross‑functional IT teams to implement process improvements and technology solutions.
- Conduct application testing, validation, and user acceptance support for new features and system updates.
- Train and support end users on enterprise applications and related business processes.
- Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and change management processes.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field of study or any equivalent combination of experience and skills.
ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of experience in enterprise application administration, systems support, or a related technical role.
Knowledge & Skills- Strong proficiency in SQL, including query development, database administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Experience with MAPS/One View or similar crew management, workforce management, or enterprise application platforms.
- Knowledge of application lifecycle management, software deployment, and system integration concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues.
- Experience supporting Windows‑based applications and end‑user environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high‑quality support and service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
