Senior/Lead GCP–Citrix DaaS Architect/Engineer
We are seeking a Senior/Lead GCP–Citrix DaaS Architect/Engineer to design, implement, and lead an enterprise Citrix DaaS environment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in GCP architecture and engineering, along with proven production experience with Citrix DaaS / Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement enterprise Citrix DaaS architecture on GCP.
- Lead GCP landing-zone integration, Shared VPC, IAM, and hybrid networking.
- Design and manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and identity services.
- Configure Citrix Resource Locations, Cloud Connectors, Machine Creation Services (MCS), and VDAs.
- Develop and manage golden images and image lifecycle processes.
- Implement security, monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and cost management.
- Automate infrastructure and Citrix deployments using Terraform, Power Shell, or similar tools.
- Design and validate high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex GCP, networking, Windows, and Citrix issues.
- Create high-quality architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation standards.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, networking, and operations teams to transition solutions into production.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proven experience designing and implementing Citrix DaaS / Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- Expertise in GCP Shared VPC, VPC networking, IAM, firewalling, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Windows Server, and identity management.
- Experience with Citrix Cloud, Cloud Connectors, MCS, VDAs, Store Front, and Citrix policies.
- Experience with Terraform, Power Shell, or cloud automation.
- Strong understanding of security, monitoring, performance, DR, and cost optimization.
- Excellent architecture documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work as both a technical architect and hands-on engineer.
- GCP or Citrix certifications.
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migrations and hybrid/on-prem environments.
- Experience implementing CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience leading technical teams and enterprise architecture initiatives.
