Position Summary:
We are seeking a Business Analyst with hands-on UiPath and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) experience to join our Fortune 200 client in Miami FL.
This is not a general Business Analyst position. The successful candidate must have professional experience supporting UiPath/RPA automation projects and working between business stakeholders and technical automation teams.
The strongest candidate is a Business Analyst who has actually worked on UiPath/RPA projects
, rather than a general Business Analyst who has only heard of automation.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked directly with business users to understand a manual process, documented that process and its requirements, collaborated with UiPath or RPA developers to automate it, and participated in testing and UAT before implementation. The ideal candidate combines hands-on exposure to UiPath and process automation with traditional Business Analyst capabilities including requirements gathering, process mapping, functional documentation, user stories, testing, UAT, and stakeholder management.

- Supporting or participating in UiPath automation projects
- Identifying and documenting processes suitable for automation
- Working with RPA developers and technical teams
- Translating business processes into automation requirements
- Documenting current-state and future-state workflows
- Supporting testing and UAT for automated processes
- Troubleshooting or documenting automation defects and exceptions
- Process improvement and workflow optimization
Candidates without professional UiPath or RPA project experience will not be considered for this position.
Business Analysis Responsibilities Requirements Gathering & Documentation- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, objectives, and desired outcomes.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements for automation and system-enhancement projects.
- Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and system documentation
. - Develop process flow diagrams, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and mock-ups to communicate requirements visually.
- Perform process analysis to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, business rules, exceptions, and dependencies.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify processes appropriate for UiPath/RPA automation
. - Analyze business processes and document steps, rules, exceptions, inputs, outputs, and system interactions required for automation.
- Work closely with UiPath developers, software developers, testers, and technical teams to ensure automation solutions meet business requirements.
- Support automation solution design by clarifying requirements and resolving questions between business and technical teams.
- Assist with process optimization before automation to avoid automating inefficient workflows.
- Participate in the implementation and ongoing improvement of RPA and workflow-automation solutions.
- Translate business and functional requirements into test scenarios, test cases, and expected results.
- Participate in manual testing, system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders.
- Document defects, exceptions, and issues and work with technical teams through resolution.
- Validate that UiPath automations and system enhancements perform according to documented business requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact analysis for system and process changes.
- Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Communicate business requirements clearly to developers, RPA engineers, testers, and project stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirements interviews, workshops, process-mapping sessions, and solution discussions.
- Support Agile ceremonies and project activities as required.
- Provide training, documentation, and implementation support to end users.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, automation, and overall operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, Technology Consulting, Automation, or related experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience working with UiPath and/or UiPath-based RPA projects.
- Professional experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and workflow automation.
