We’re partnering with a high-growth hospitality holding company operating across Chicago, Miami, New York, Dallas, and Washington DC, as it accelerates a major transformation across AI, digital technology, data, and customer experience.
This business has a huge volume of customer interactions, operational data, digital touchpoints, and commercial activity, creating an enormous opportunity for AI to fundamentally change how the organisation operates.
From intelligent personalisation and recommendation engines to GenAI-powered customer experiences, predictive analytics and automation, the ambition is to move beyond experimentation and build AI that actually works in the real world.
As an AI Engineer, you’ll be one of the people responsible for making that happen. You’ll sit within a growing AI and Digital Analytics function, working alongside data scientists, engineers, analysts, product teams, and senior technology leaders to design, build, integrate, and deploy production-grade AI solutions across the organisation.
Key Details- Salary Range: $120,000 to $250,000 base, plus 10-20% annual bonus, comprehensive healthcare, retirement benefits, and additional long term incentives.
- Location: Hybrid, with opportunities based around Chicago, Miami, New York City, Dallas, or Washington DC
, depending on the team and business function. - Career Outlook: Excellent opportunity to progress into Senior AI Engineer, Lead AI Engineer, AI Architect, AI Engineering Manager, or Head of AI Engineering as the organisation continues to scale its AI capabilities.
- AI Engineering: Commercial experience building and deploying AI or machine learning applications, ideally within a production environment. You should be comfortable taking an idea from prototype through to a reliable, scalable solution.
- Generative AI & LLMs: Hands-on experience with LLM-based applications, including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar technologies. Experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI agents, or tool calling is highly desirable.
- Python Development: Strong Python engineering skills with experience building APIs, services, data pipelines, AI applications, or machine learning systems.
- Modern Software Engineering: Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, version control, testing, APIs, cloud architecture, CI/CD, and production deployment. Experience with Type Script, JavaScript, React, or similar technologies is a bonus.
- AI Application Architecture: Understanding of how to connect models to enterprise data, applications, APIs, and business workflows. You should understand that building effective AI products requires considerably more than simply calling an LLM API.
- Data & Machine Learning: Solid understanding of data structures, feature engineering, model evaluation, machine learning concepts, and analytical workflows. Experience working closely with data scientists and data engineers is highly valuable.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience working with AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent cloud environments. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, or serverless architecture is advantageous.
- AI Evaluation & Observability: Understanding of how to evaluate AI applications in production, including accuracy, latency, cost, hallucination, model performance, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Security & Responsible AI: Awareness of data security, privacy, access controls, responsible AI, and the challenges associated with deploying AI into customer-facing and enterprise environments.
- Product Mindset: You don't just think about whether something can be built. You think about whether it should be built, who will use it, what problem it solves, and how success will be measured.
This is an opportunity to join a business at the point where AI experimentation is becoming serious AI engineering. You'll be working on real problems across hospitality, digital customer experience, commercial analytics, operations, personalisation, automation, and potentially entirely new AI enabled products.
You'll have significant exposure to senior technology and business leaders, while working alongside data scientists, engineers, product managers, and analysts to turn ambitious AI concepts into scalable technology.
If you're an engineer who wants to work with modern AI rather than simply read about it, wants ownership over production systems, and wants to see your work directly influence how a major hospitality business operates, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
Build the intelligence. Ship the future.
