Job DescriptionHelp protect critical systems and data by monitoring threats, analyzing risks, and strengthening our security posture. You'll work with cross-functional teams to detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents that support our mission and the agencies we serve.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents using SIEM and other security tools.
- Conduct threat analysis and vulnerability assessments.
- Support incident response activities and root cause analysis.
- Maintain and enhance security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement security controls and best practices.
- Stay current on emerging threats, tools, and industry trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and vulnerability management.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and best practices (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CEH) preferred.
