The Manager, Fleet Finance is responsible for leading cross-functional projects, change management initiatives, training programs, analytics/reporting, and issue/request triage in support of the Fleet Finance organization. This role serves as a key connector between Fleet Finance Operations, Finance Technology, IT, Financial Planning & Analysis, and other business partners to ensure projects and process changes are effectively prioritized, implemented, communicated, and adopted across the fleet.
This position leads the planning and execution of Fleet Finance initiatives, including process improvements, system enhancements, AI enablement, reporting optimization, training deployment, and project intake governance. The role is responsible for translating business needs into clear project requirements, coordinating stakeholder alignment, supporting testing and implementation readiness, developing fleet-facing communication and training materials, and monitoring adoption after go-live.
The role also supports the Fleet Finance leadership team through data analytics, dashboards, reporting, and insights that help identify trends, risks, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement. The position focuses on enabling scalable, standardized, and technology-supported solutions that improve the effectiveness, consistency, and efficiency of Fleet Finance processes across the fleet.
Essential Functions:Lead Fleet Finance projects and transformation initiatives from intake through implementation, including defining scope, documenting business requirements, coordinating project plans, tracking milestones, managing risks/issues, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables are completed in support of Fleet Finance priorities.
Lead change management and fleet-wide enablement efforts for new processes, systems, tools, policies, and reporting changes impacting Fleet Finance. Develop communication plans, stakeholder updates, readiness materials, training guides, job aids, and adoption support to ensure successful deployment across shipboard and shore-side teams.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Fleet Finance analytics, dashboards, reports, scorecards, and business insights. Use data to identify trends, recurring issues, process gaps, risks, adoption challenges, and opportunities to improve Finance processes, controls, compliance, and decision-making.
Serve as the central triage point for Fleet Finance project requests, process improvement ideas, reporting needs, system enhancement requests, and escalated business issues submitted by Fleet Finance operations teams. Evaluate requests, clarify business impact, determine priority, route to the appropriate owner or project channel, and track resolution or next steps.
Partner with Finance Technology, IT, Financial Planning & Analysis, and other stakeholders to support system enhancements, testing, release readiness, user acceptance testing, change impact assessments, and implementation of technology-enabled solutions.
Support AI enablement and digital transformation within Fleet Finance by identifying practical use cases, promoting responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools, developing guidance and training, supporting pilot initiatives, and helping teams leverage automation, analytics, and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision‑making.
Serve as an internal consultant to Fleet Finance leadership and business partners by translating operational pain points into actionable project plans, process improvements, reporting solutions, training needs, or technology requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to Corporate Policies and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, audit procedures, and control‑related responsibilities for financial data entered, stored, analyzed, or reported through business systems within the employee’s control.
