Test Automation Engineer
Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, Platform Engineering, Cloud Operations, or Test Automation, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and deployment validation.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including automated test execution, quality gates, rollback readiness, and release validation.
• Experience developing automated testing frameworks using APIs, Selenium (or equivalent), smoke testing, integration testing, synthetic monitoring, and observability tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-scale post-deployment validation and reliability-focused automation, supporting patch management, change management, operational readiness, and production support.
• Strong experience with Windows/Linux environments, AWS cloud infrastructure, and Ansible automation, including patch validation, connectivity checks, IAM, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• AWS, Dev Ops, SRE, testing, automation, or cloud certifications are a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve automation and testing processes
Job Description We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our Dev Ops and Site Reliability Engineering team. In this hands-on role, you will build, enhance, and operate automated validation capabilities that test the full technology stack after patching, code releases, configuration updates, infrastructure changes, and platform deployments. You will embed automated post-deployment testing into CI/CD pipelines so teams get fast, reliable feedback after changes are deployed.
Your work will help improve release confidence, reduce manual validation, detect issues earlier, and strengthen production readiness across ADP systems. This is not a traditional QA role. It is an engineering role focused on Dev Ops, SRE, test automation, reliability, infrastructure validation, observability, and safe change delivery. You will work closely with Dev Ops engineers, SREs, application teams, system engineers, architects, and release stakeholders to make automation part of the operational fabric.
