KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America is seeking an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist III to support advanced endoscopic and OR1 integration systems within hospital operating rooms. In this field-based role, you will provide hands-on technical support, system setup, and troubleshooting for endoscopy towers, cameras, and surgical imaging platforms, ensuring reliable performance during procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons and OR staff, perform routine checks, coordinate repairs, and train clinical users on proper operation and care.
This position suits professionals with strong OR, endoscopy, or biomedical equipment experience who value precision, customer focus, and supporting high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for endoscopic and OR integration systems in hospital surgical suites
- Set up, test, and configure endoscopy towers, cameras, light sources, and imaging equipment before procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and OR staff to ensure optimal system performance and workflow efficiency
- Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and coordination of repairs with service teams
- Train clinical staff on proper use, care, and safety of KARL STORZ equipment and OR1 systems
- Document service activities, issues, and equipment performance in accordance with hospital and company standards
- Support system upgrades, software updates, and new technology implementations
- Adhere to hospital, regulatory, and company policies regarding safety, infection control, and compliance
