MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data and Information Systems Task Lead to join our team in Doral, FL.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Data and Information Systems Lead serves as the technical authority and subject matter expert for data and information systems within the SCITES 2 Task Order, ensuring alignment with USSOUTHCOM's operational needs and decision-support frameworks
• Lead the development and implementation of strategies and mechanisms to characterize, shape, and normalize data within the Enterprise Information Environment working closely with Engineering, Data teams, Cyber and ITSM functions within the (EIE), enabling data-driven decision making and operational effectiveness
• Oversee the delivery and integration of information systems and technologies, ensuring optimal performance, interoperability, and alignment with USSOUTHCOM's mission requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams responsible for data management, information systems development, and cybersecurity, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration
• Additionally, they contribute to the strategic planning and innovation of data and information systems, evaluating emerging technologies and trends to enhance USSOUTHCOM's capabilities and capacity to maintain a competitive advantage
• Support modernizing data infrastructure and leveraging AI/ML to create seamlessly integrated solutions that empower strategic decision making
• Provide expertise in architecting and implementing large-scale data systems, ensuring data integrity and security, and translating complex data into actionable insights for diverse applications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 12 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science or Information Technology Operations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• High School Diploma and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree.
• A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted credit for 2 years' relevant experience for that additional education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.

Desired

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in STEM field and relevant industry standard certifications. Experience with database systems such as SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

• Must hold a current/active secret security clearance.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
