US-Based Human Transcription Specialist About the Role

We are seeking detail-oriented Human Transcription Specialists to accurately transcribe audio and video content into written text. This role is ideal for individuals with strong reading comprehension, writing skills, and attention to detail.

• Listen to audio and video recordings and create accurate written transcripts.
• Follow transcription guidelines and formatting standards.
• Review and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency.
• Meet quality and productivity targets while maintaining accuracy.
• Conduct basic research when needed to verify names, terminology, or references.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Degree in a reading- and writing-intensive field such as:
• English
• Political Science
• History
• Philosophy
• Journalism
• Communications
• Sociology
• International Relations
• Other Liberal Arts disciplines
• Excellent written English skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable internet connection and computer.

Preferred:

• Prior transcription, editing, proofreading, research, or content review experience.
• Experience working with deadlines and quality standards.
