Overview:

A leading law firm is seeking a Trust and Estates Administration Associate with a minimum of five years of relevant experience to join its offices in New Jersey, New York, or Florida. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of estate and trust administration, with familiarity in probate procedures across NJ, NY, and FL considered a strong asset.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years’ experience in estate and trust administration
• Knowledge of probate processes in NJ, NY, and FL preferred
• Experience preparing federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings
• Comfortable communicating with clients, financial planners, and accountants
• Proficiency in estate tax software (ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), Hot Docs, and Microsoft Word preferred
• Superior communication, organizational, and mathematical skills
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and contribute to a team
• College degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
• Licensed JD in any of the listed jurisdictions

Responsibilities:

• Oversee estate and trust administration from initiation through completion
• Prepare and manage probate filings, tax returns, accountings, and related documentation
• Coordinate the distribution of estate assets and trust funding
• Draft deeds and handle supporting transactional paperwork
• Maintain clear and timely communication with stakeholders
