Overview
We are seeking a senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support 2 attorneys who focus on complex real estate finance, development, and high-value transactional work for developers, private equity groups, and commercial lenders. This is a highly transactional, deal-driven role supporting sophisticated matters such as construction loans, mezzanine financing, distressed asset acquisitions and workouts, condominium conversions, and large multi-party commercial closings.
Responsibilities- Support commercial real estate transactions from contract through post-closing
- Coordinate and manage construction loan and mezzanine financing closings
- Review and organize title commitments, surveys, estoppels, and due diligence materials
- Prepare and assemble loan documents, closing binders, and funding packages
- Coordinate with developers, lenders, private equity groups, title companies, surveyors, and opposing counsel
- Assist with condominium conversions, unit sales, and large-volume closing coordination
- Manage closing checklists, timelines, and document flow for complex multi-party transactions
- Prepare closing statements, payoff letters, estoppels, and related transactional documents
- Maintain organized deal files and oversee post-closing documentation
- 5+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal
- Direct experience with construction loan or mezzanine financing transactions
- Background supporting developers, commercial lenders, or private equity groups
- Strong understanding of title and survey review and commercial closing process
- Experience coordinating large, complex, multi-party closings
- Exceptional organization and ability to manage multiple active transactions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-heavy transactional environment
