Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury Associate Attorney Miami, FL (Hybrid Option Available)
A well-established and growing plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in Miami, Florida is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client advocacy, and wants meaningful hands-on experience handling cases from intake through trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and settlement demands
- Take and defend depositions, attend mediations, and negotiate settlements
- Maintain regular client communication and provide case strategy updates
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and trial preparation
- Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and other proceedings as needed
The firm handles a variety of plaintiff-side matters including:
- Auto accidents and trucking collisions
- Catastrophic injuries
- Negligent security claims
- Slip and fall cases
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar
- 1–5+ years of personal injury experience preferred (plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred)
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Excellent legal writing and communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines and independently drive cases forward
- Trial experience is a plus, but not required
