PIP Paralegal - On Site

A Florida-established law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense PIP Paralegal for its Tampa office. Applicants should have 2+ years of experience, be self-starters, possess excellent communication skills, and be well-organized to join our fast-growing team. Insurance defense experience is preferred.

• Respond to Discovery Requests, including requests for production, requests for admissions, and interrogatories; prepare defense discovery requests; monitor and obtain discovery responses from opposing counsel.
• Prepare various types of motions, pleadings, exhibits, and correspondence.
• Process pleadings, motions, and correspondence (e-service and physical) using the Florida e-filing portal.
• Prepare materials in support of pleadings, motions, and depositions, including legal research (prior experience with Westlaw preferred).
• Complete other duties as needed to support the law firm's mission.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of legal administration.
• Experience with Case Management software (Time Matters experience is a plus).
• Knowledge of Westlaw.
• Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail.
• Dependability and ability to maintain confidentiality of case and client matters.

• Working knowledge of Case Management Software (Time Matters experience is a plus).
• Experience with Billable Time Entry Software and Juris Software is a plus.
• Proficiency in Westlaw.
