We are looking for a Project Assistant to join the Product Liability and Mass Torts practice group.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Organize and maintain case files, pleadings and other documents, as well as attorney notebooks, reports and witness statements
- Prepare and finalize motions to be filed, including collection of referenced exhibits
- Electronically file motions in various State and Federal courts
- Work independently and with others
- Follow established client and team guidelines for matter management
- Keep accurate time records
- Work efficiently in a heavily computer-based environment
- Strong, concise oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks under strict time constraints
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong prioritization, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to exhibit good judgement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Professional
- Able to work overtime, including weekends and holidays with little to no advance notice.
