Position: Condominium/Homeowners Association Litigation Attorney (342/o)

Long standing community association firm based in South Florida is expanding and looking to add a Litigation Attorney with experience in Condominium and Homeowners Association law to their team. The firm is a progressive and constantly growing enterprise which utilizes the technological advancements available to the legal profession and is dedicated to providing the best possible representation for its Association clients.

The nature of legal services needed by Associations is as varied and individual as the Associations themselves and will involve a combination of more conventional specialty areas including real property, corporations, litigation, contracts and insurance. Ideal candidates will understand that condominium and homeowners association attorneys must be educators, problem prev enters as well as problem solvers, corporate advisors, decision facilitators, and advocates.

If you are a litigator with experience in condominium and general liability law or if you are an attorney with experience in these areas and are willing to learn litigation case workup, this could be the opportunity for you. This position is a full time, onsite position at the firms’ Miami Lakes or Miramar, FL office.

The Attorney is responsible for:
  • Drafting Pleadings and Motions.
  • Propound and respond to discovery
  • Prepare for and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment
  • Attend meditations and settlement conferences
  • Attend and take depositions
  • Assist at jury and bench trials
  • Legal Research
  • Work closely with clients and their agents
  • Work closely with managing partner
Qualifications:
  • Must be admitted in good standing to the Florida Bar
  • Must Have Strong Problem-solving skills
  • Must Have Strong Analytical skills
  • Must Have Strong attention to details
  • Must Have Strong legal writing and research skills
