Clyde & Co’s Miami office is seeking a highly skilled Senior Counsel to join its Trial and Defense team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced litigator who thrives in a fastpaced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding client service within a leading global law firm.

• Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and general liability matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop case strategies, conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Handle depositions, court appearances, mediations, and negotiations with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with clients, claims professionals, and internal teams to ensure effective case management and communication.
• Provide strategic guidance and contribute to trial preparation and trial work as needed.
• Oversee and manage a team of associates and paralegals.

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar.
• 7+ years of litigation experience
  , with a strong background in insurance defense and general liability defense
  .
• Proven ability to independently manage a full caseload, including all phases of litigation.
• Exceptional legal writing skills and strong attention to detail.
• Effective negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
