Litigation Associate Attorney

About the Job

Mase Seitz Briggs is a civil trial firm in Miami/Coconut Grove seeking an attorney with 1-3 years of experience. Our practice mostly involves maritime personal injury claims and other tort claims. We represent the largest cruise lines and do a mix of other trial work. As a result, much of our work is in federal court in the Southern District of Florida or international arbitration.

Our lawyers have autonomy in how their assigned cases progress on a day-to-day basis. They participate in all aspects of their assigned cases from start to finish.

Our candidates are hired with the goal that they will stay with the firm long term.

The preferred candidate will have an interest in litigation and strong writing skills. Courtroom, deposition, written discovery, and/or dispositive motion drafting experience are preferred but not required. Experience in federal court, either as an intern during law school or during practice, is a plus. Experience on a law review, journal, moot court, or trial team is beneficial.

This position requires a Florida bar license in good standing. Admission to the Southern District of Florida is not required but you must be eligible.
