We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Services Counsel to oversee and manage commercial real estate transactions, with a primary focus on vacant land closings. This is a direct-hire, onsite position based in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate is a seasoned attorney with strong experience in commercial title, escrow, and closing operations.

Position Details

• Onsite role based in Miami, Florida

• Focus on commercial vacant land transactions

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage commercial real estate closings, primarily vacant land transactions

• Provide legal oversight and title services in compliance with industry standards and underwriter guidelines

• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex title issues, disputes, and claims

• Advise clients, attorneys, and internal teams on advanced title, escrow, and closing matters

• Review and approve high-liability transactions and coordinate with underwriters for approvals beyond authority limits

• Develop, implement, and maintain best practices for commercial closings and title operations

• Train, mentor, and support staff to ensure confidence and competency in complex transactions

• Stay current on legal, regulatory, and underwriting changes impacting commercial real estate

• Support client engagement and business development efforts as needed

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing

• All continuing legal education (CLE) requirements met

• Extensive experience in commercial title services, underwriting, claims, and litigation

• Strong knowledge of Florida real estate law and title insurance regulations

• Proven leadership and team mentoring experience

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
