Job Overview
North Texas Custom Roofing and Construction Management (NTCR&CM) is a leading provider of thorough, long‑lasting, and environmentally friendly roofing solutions for both residential and commercial clients. With a steadfast commitment to high‑quality workmanship and exceptional customer service, we are seeking an experienced and highly organised Logistics Manager to join our team. This is a full‑time position based in Miami, Florida, United States.
The offered compensation for this role is between $35 and $75 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate all logistics, warehouse, and transportation activities to ensure efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
- Direct the full order cycle, from procurement and inventory management to the timely delivery of materials to various construction sites.
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and transport companies to secure advantageous terms.
- Maintain accurate records of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
- Arrange and manage warehouse operations, including cataloguing goods, planning routes, and processing shipments.
- Proactively identify and resolve any logistical problems or complaints that may arise.
- Analyse data and metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to the logistics process.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably within the construction, roofing, or a related industry.
- A strong record of successful distribution and logistics management.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in standard logistics and inventory management software.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
