We are representing a growing international freight forwarding and logistics provider with an established global network and a strong reputation for delivering reliable air, ocean, and supply chain solutions.

As part of continued expansion in the U.S. market, the business is looking to strengthen its Miami operations by adding an experienced Air & Ocean Export Specialist to its international operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional who enjoys taking ownership of export shipments from start to finish.

Working from the Miami office, you'll be responsible for managing international air and ocean export shipments across the full operational lifecycle, ensuring cargo moves efficiently while delivering a high level of customer service. You'll work closely with overseas offices, carriers, customers, and logistics partners to ensure every shipment is handled accurately, compliantly, and on schedule.

• Manage international air and ocean export shipments from A–Z
• Coordinate bookings with airlines, ocean carriers, and overseas agents
• Prepare and review all export documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Arrange cargo collection, transportation, and final shipment execution
• Maintain regular communication with customers, providing proactive shipment updates
• Coordinate with overseas offices to ensure smooth cargo movement and timely delivery
• Produce shipping instructions, export declarations, and other required documentation
• Work closely with trucking companies, warehouses, and transportation providers to coordinate export movements
• Resolve operational issues quickly while maintaining exceptional customer service
• Ensure accurate billing, shipment files, and system updates throughout the shipment lifecycle

• Previous experience within an international freight forwarding environment
• Strong operational knowledge of both air and ocean export shipments
• Proven ability to manage export files from start to finish (A–Z)
• Good understanding of international shipping documentation and export compliance
• Experience coordinating with airlines, ocean carriers, overseas agents, and transportation providers
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple shipments simultaneously
• Experience using freight forwarding operating systems is highly desirable
