AIT Worldwide Logistics is seeking an Air Export Agent III that will coordinate the day-to-day export of international freight forwarding shipments into and out of the USA across all modes of international transportation based on customer requests. The Air Export Agent's primary focus is providing a high-level of operational excellence and a world-class customer service experience to all customers.

Other Skills We Hope to See:

• Associates Degree or equivalent
• 4-6 Years Freight Forwarding experience preferred
• Dangerous Goods Certification preferred
• Certified Cargo Wise Specialist CCO required
• Certified Cargo Wise Specialist, CCS preferred
• Proficiency Knowledge of Cargo Wise
• Advanced math & geography skills.
• Ability to analyze numerical data and understand components, relationships, find patterns and draw conclusions
• Ability to recommend solutions to common problems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced knowledge of freight movement, air vendors, air space configurations, container loads, special loading constraints, regulatory requirements, pricing, service routings, AIT product offerings, equipment types, incoterms, and shipment profitability.
• Intermediate knowledge of country regulations and AIT policies & procedures that minimize risks to the customer and company.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide using units of currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Proficiency with using MS Office
• Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
• Read, analyze, and interpret complex procedures/regulations and write correspondence and procedural documents.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with a variety of people; can effectively present information in large group settings.
• Responds promptly & professionally to customer needs and solicits feedback to improve performance.
