JOB OVERVIEW

The Procurement Analystis responsible forthe sourcing andpurchasingof materials, parts, and services that support FTAI’s MRO/MRE operations, serving as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and Operations to proactivelyidentifysolutions for material shortages and indirect procurement challenges. This roleparticipatesin production and material management meetings, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and supportstimelyasset availability through effective vendor management and procurement processes.

Because the Supply Chain organization encompasses both Procurement and Repairs, the Procurement Analyst is also expected to support repair projects and other ad hoc initiatives as business needs shift, working alongside Repair Analysts to protect continuity of parts availability. Keyobjectivesinclude increased assetutilization, inventory optimization, and improved financial performance. The Analyst leverages inventory management tools and data insights to recommend solutions and drive efficiency across the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

Procurement (primary focus)

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies to acquire materials, parts, and commodities at or below market levels.
  • Research product options, perform price comparisons, and assess purchase timing to optimize cost and lead time.
  • Maintain a robust supplier network for parts, equipment, and services; support vendor qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and MRO/MRE Operations on material shortages and indirect procurement needs.
  • Support inventory management and maintain appropriate Min/Max levels aligned with MRE Operations.
  • Conduct cost-benefit and risk assessments to evaluate sourcing decisions and supply chain projects.
  • Stay informed about market supply trends, pricing, and lead-time conditions, and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
  • Align and execute global supply chain initiatives in support of business targets.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement both tactical and strategic sourcing plans.

Repairs and Ad Hoc Supply Chain Support

  • Support repair projects as assigned, including creating and managing Repair Orders and coordinating repair activity with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair orders, turnaround time (TAT), and cost estimates; monitor progress and escalate delays as needed.
  • Track and analyze repair costs to support accurate billing and cost control.
  • Partner with Repair Analysts to evaluate buy-versus-repair options and identify the most cost-effective, timely path to parts availability.
  • Provide coverage and surge support across the Supply Chain organization during peak workload, absences, or special projects.
  • Complete other ad hoc assignments, reporting, and analysis in support of Supply Chain objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain systems, processes, workflows, and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain , Business, Finance, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or repair coordination.
  • Understanding of supply chain concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused and adept at problem-solving with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aviation, aerospace, or another regulated technical environment.
  • Experience using Quantum.
  • Experience working with vendors and service providers in a repair-focused environment.
  • Familiarity with repair processes, parts sourcing, and typical associated documentation.
  • Ability to navigate and interpret technical manuals.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Skilled at building relationships across all organizational levels in both formal and informal settings.
  • Comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
