We specialize in international transportation of cargos via sea, road and air freight, including warehousing and container freight station activities.
We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor who will manage and oversee logistics operations across third‑party warehouse providers (3PLs), build and maintain vendor relationships, and manage Full Truck Load (FTL) capacity procurement.
This role focuses on ensuring smooth coordination with 3PL partners, maintaining service levels, optimizing vendor performance, and securing cost‑effective transport capacity. The position requires strong stakeholder management, operational control capabilities, and a hands‑on approach in a non‑asset logistics environment.
Reports to Logistics Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Coordination & Oversight
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and 3PL warehouse providers
- Monitor daily inbound and outbound activities executed by 3PL partners
- Ensure adherence to agreed service level agreements (SLAs)
- Track inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies with 3PL partners
- Engage regularly, quarterly and bi‑annual audits of inventory per facility
- Conduct regular performance reviews and operational meetings
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards
- Note: This role manages warehouse performance, not warehouse labor.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with transport vendors and logistics service providers
- Support Product Management in “spot” and “contractual” negotiations
- Evaluate vendor performance based on cost, service level, and reliability
- Manage escalations and resolve operational issues with carriers and 3PL partners
- Support onboarding and qualification of new vendors
- Operational Coordination
- Coordinate closely with 3PL warehouse providers, internal customer service and project managers, and external logistics partners.
- Ensure alignment between inventory availability, warehouse readiness, and customer requirements
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report key KPIs:
- 3PL SLA performance
- Identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions
- Drive operational improvements across 3PL and vendor performance
- Improve communication and coordination processes with external partners
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (strongly preferred).
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain or warehouse operations.
- Experience in a 3PL/outsourced warehouse model (essential).
- Knowledge in Warehouse Safety and Security, OSHA, Space Requirements, Optimization and Utilization required.
- Knowledge of Location based Inventory Management, WMS Systems, Bar-Code Scanning, SKU Level Reporting, and Order Fulfillment.
- Strong background in:
- FTL procurement
- Vendor and carrier management
- Operational coordination
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to manage numerous moving parts simultaneously (multitask) under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- MS Office skills required; with strong proficiency using Excel
- Approximately 30% Travel Required to conduct:
- 3PL warehouse visits
- Meetings with transport vendors and partners
- Customer visits and operational reviews
