About Us

Olfactory NYC offers a unique, one-of-a-kind experience in personal scent creation. Guests combine fine fragrance with individuality, working with our world-renowned perfumers and highest-quality oils to craft a bespoke fragrance as unique as they are.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support associates (“Scent-tologists”) to deliver best‑in‑class guest experiences.
• Drive sales performance and achieve/exceed daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high‑performing, experience‑focused team.
• Manage visual merchandising standards and ensure flawless execution of in‑store events.
• Protect company assets through compliance with safety, inventory, and loss‑prevention procedures.
• Analyze sales metrics, identify opportunities, and develop strategies for growth.
• Create and manage weekly schedules and payroll to meet staffing and budget targets.

Qualifications

• Proven leader with 3+ years of retail or hospitality management experience (beauty/fragrance a plus).
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve sales goals.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Physical ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours a day, lift up to 50 lbs, and stock merchandise.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with Shopify POS and Google Suite preferred.
