Position: Accounting Manager
Location: Miami, FL
Salary: $115,000-$125,000

As we expand, we’re seeking an experienced and people‑focused Accounting Manager to guide our team, enhance our processes, and uphold the financial excellence that defines Sky Mart.

• Lead & Develop a High‑Performing Accounting Team
  • Directly supervise accounting staff; set clear goals and expectations
  • Manage workloads, assess performance, and resolve interpersonal conflicts
  • Foster teamwork, engagement, and alignment with business needs
  • Hire, train, mentor, and support team members across AP, AR, and GL
  • Delegate tasks, provide feedback, and ensure deadlines are consistently met
• Oversee Core Accounting Operations
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and related functions
  • Manage all GL processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
  • Prepare and file timely sales & use tax returns and coordinate 1099 reporting
• Improve Processes & Strengthen Systems
  • Manage workflows, task assignments, and key metric monitoring
  • Evaluate current procedures and recommend process improvements
  • Support the development of staff with coaching, training, and performance management
  • Partner with the CFO to drive continuous improvement within accounting systems
• Lead Through Strategy & Accountability
  • Translate company strategy into clear departmental goals and KPIs
  • Maintain strong communication and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability
  • Align the accounting team with company wide operational and growth objectives

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Highly skilled in math, accounting, and financial processes
• Detail‑oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Able to collaborate and work efficiently in a team environment
• Solid understanding of GAAP and applicable regulations
• English/Spanish Bilingual (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Master’s degree or CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience
